Glamorgan complete a disappointing t20 campaign with back-to-back games against Gloucestershire.
In between those matches is the County Championship fixture against Derbyshire, which begins on Monday.
"You've got to balance all that up," said Mott.
"We've got to weigh up what's best to win the t20 games and also what's best for the Championship.
"It's a conversation Alviro [Petersen], myself and the physio staff will have a bit of a chat to see where we're at."
The Dragons suffered their ninth defeat of the t20 campaign on Friday at Chelmsford, with Essex securing a five-wicket victory.
Although hopes of a quarter-final place had long disappeared, Mott is keen to finish the campaign on a high note.
His side travel to Bristol to face Gloucestershire on Sunday before the same opponents visit Cardiff for the final group game on Friday night.
And the Australian was encouraged by Glamorgan's display despite defeat against Essex
"It would be lovely to finish with two wins in this competition," said Mott.
"We think we're playing reasonable cricket. We're doing most things right.
"It seems like groundhog day talking about this. We played well in patches again but we're not getting over the line."
