Tour challenge fades for Thomas

Geraint Thomas Geraint Thomas finished 123rd at the latest stage of the Tour de France. Welshman Geraint Thomas finished the 13th stage of the Tour de France in 123rd place.

The Cardiff-born Team Sky rider, 25, completed the gruelling 152.2km trek in four hours, six minutes and eight seconds.

Thomas, Team Sky's second best placed rider behind Rigoberto Uran, sits in 39th place overall.

Norwegian, Thor Hushovd, won the 13th stage but home favourite Thomas Voeckler continues to lead the Tour.
